I haven't received an activation email or can't get into my account?

 

Firstly, try checking your junk/spam folder in your email.  It may well be that you find your account activation here.  If so, remember to click that it is safe and not junk so the problem doesn't happen again and add justbrokerjobs.com to your white list/safe list.  If your activation email is not here or you are having other problems accessing or creating your account then simply email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. What is the benefit to uploading my CV?

 

By uploading your CV and completing your profile, you can make it searchable by brokerages who are looking for new brokers.  You do not need to do anything other than complete your profile as thoroughly as possible and then if an employer likes the look of you, they will contact you with job offers.  At Just Broker Jobs we believe that brokerages are looking for people with the right attitude and sales capability rather than a long CV full of educational background and references.  Therefore try to complete as much information as possible in your profile while being short and to the point about what you can do as a broker.  The more appealing and interesting your profile and CV look, the more likely you are to have an employer contact you with a job offer.  It's the easiest way to find work!

 

How do I hide my CV from my employer?

 

You can hide your CV from your employer (or indeed any employer) by simply clicking the "Hide CV" tab and selecting the company or companies that you wish to hide your CV from.  This will allow you to receive job offers from the companies you want and block those that you are not interested in or don't wish to have know that you are looking for work.

 

How do I apply for a job?

 

To apply for a job you must be registered and logged in.  Then, simply click the "Apply Job" link which is displayed at the top and bottom of each job description.

 

How can I find out more about a job vacancy?

 

If you wish to know more about a job vacancy then you will need to apply for the job to start the communication process.  You will be able to attach a cover note in which you can ask any further questions.

 

What are job alerts?

 

Job alerts are the easiest way to keep up-to-date with the latest jobs that fit your criteria.  Simply set up a job alert with the type of job that you are looking for and we will email you when we find jobs that match your preferences.

Why is my job vacancy not showing?

 

When you create a job vacancy you can set a date when your job goes live.  Make sure you have set the correct date (e.g. if you want your job live now, choose the current date on the publishing calendar).  You may also wish to check that you have selected "published" in the Status section as your job will not show until you choose to publish the vacancy.  If your job still isn't showing then you can call us or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. I have paid for CV access but the system is saying that I don't yet have access?

 

If you have paid for CV access then you will still need to activate access.  You can do this by going to your Employer Tools panel.  In the company information box, you will see a link saying "Activate CV Access".  Click this and confirm and you will then be able to access the CV database.

 

Can I upload a logo?

 

Yes.  Simply visit your Employer Tools panel and underneath your profile you will see an "edit profile" icon (small notepad and pen).  Click this and you will be able to enter a description about your company as well as contact details.  You will also see a tab that says "Logo", click this and upload a logo from your desktop.

 

What is broker CV access?

 

Access to our broker CV allows you to search our database of registered brokers directly.  This means that you don't have to wait for replies to a job advert and can instead access a huge range of brokers who are actively looking for work.  You will be able to search under certain keywords (e.g. wine broker or opener) or for people with certain job experience (e.g. closers or loaders).  You can then view their profile and CV if they have uploaded one and contact them directly with a job offer or to try and arrange an interview.  It's the fastest and most effective way to get brokers quickly.

 

How do I pay for adverts/CV access?
